What is an admin consent URL?

An admin consent URL is used to grant an OAuth client permission to connect to accounts within your Microsoft 365 organization. Admin consent must be granted before users can consent to account access.

The OAuth client IDs for many first-party email apps are automatically granted access by Microsoft (e.g. Outlook, Apple Mail). Third-party apps like Auth-Email require admin consent before users in your organization can connect. Use the shortcut above to pre-fill the Auth-Email client ID.
